Amir Khan, M.D.

Dr. Khan is a fellowship-trained vascular and interventional neurologist specializing in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology. He completed fellowships in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology and Vascular Neurology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Khan completed his neurology residency at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an internal medicine residency at Duke University. Prior to that, he earned his medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Driven by a desire to serve others and fascinated by the challenges of Endovascular and Vascular Neurology, Dr. Khan is excited to join the faculty at UCSF Fresno and provide his expertise in the treatment of stroke, brain aneurysms, intracranial hemorrhage, vascular malformations and carotid stenosis.

Dr. Khan is a member of the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology and the American Academy of Neurology and has had his work published in multiple peer-reviewed journals.

When he’s not working or spending time with his wife and two young children, Dr. Khan enjoys distance running, reading and following professional sports.
