Covid-19 Information

The coronavirus pandemic — also known as COVID-19 — has been declared an international  public health emergency by the World Health Organization and cases continue in California, around the United States and globally. Your health and safety is our top priority, which means your next visit may look different than what you’re used to.

Things to remember for your visit:

  • Come to your appointment alone unless you are in need of physical assistance, in which case we will allow one visitor to accompany you.
  • For our pediatric patients, only one parent may accompany them at a time. Please wear a face mask — it’s required.
  • You will be screened for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 before your appointment
Ways we’re keeping you safe during your visit:
  • We conduct daily health screenings of all staff and providers for any signs or symptoms of COVID-19.
  • We screen all patients for signs or symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Staff and providers are wearing face masks.
  • We’ve arranged the waiting room to practice social distancing.
  • You can check in and wait for your appointment from your car.
  • We are sanitizing exam rooms between patient visits and areas regularly frequented by patients.

We Understand

You may have questions and concerns about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), how to reduce your risk of getting sick, and how to manage cold or flu-like symptoms. Please refer to the Centers for Disease Control and California Health Department for the most up-to-date information.

Stay informed and protect yourself and those around you:
  • If you are sick, stay home (and keep sick children home). It’s the best way to avoid the spread of illness.
  • If you have flu-like symptoms such as a fever, cough or sore throat, or difficulty breathing, please call your primary care doctor’s office and do not go to your doctor’s office until you’ve spoken to the office and received instructions.
  • If you need immediate medical attention, please dial 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
  • Cough or sneeze into a tissue or your elbow and wash your hands afterwards.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
  • To help reduce the risk of exposing you and others to the flu, common cold and COVID-19, we ask that you take advantage of telehealth options.
  • Contact the Fresno County Health Department if you develop symptoms, and have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19 or if you live in or have recently been in an area with ongoing spread of COVID-19.
  • For guidance, contact Fresno County Health Department at (559) 600-3332.
