M. Mansoor Alam, M.D. is board certified in hematology and medical oncology. Dr. Alam completed his residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation of Internal Medicine in Cleveland Ohio and finished his hematologic oncology fellowship training at the University of Vermont.

Dr. Alam worked as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Michigan where he worked on cancer research. He studied the effect of cancer medications on different cancer cell lines. Dr. Alam served as an assistant professor at Ohio State University in the Departments of Medical Oncology and Hematology.

Dr. Alam uses the newest and most effective drugs and treatments available. His emphasis is in the patients’ overall health and quality of life while they undergo cancer treatment. He takes the time to truly engage the patient to help them get through treatment. For his passion and dedication to patient care he has been the recipient of patient satisfaction awards.

After practicing in diverse clinical and geographical settings he has settled in sunny Central Valley. Dr. Alam is married and has two school age children. He enjoys gardening, biking, hiking, fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family.
