R. Loch Macdonald, M.D., Ph.D., FRCSC, FACS

Dr. Macdonald completed a fellowship in Cerebrovasular Neurosurgery and is now the Valley’s leading expert in Vascular Neurosurgery. He also specializes in cranial neurosurgery. In addition to serving as faculty in the UCSF Fresno Department of Neurosurgery, he was Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Chicago and the University of Toronto — where he also served as the Head of the Division of Neurosurgery at St. Michael’s Hospital. Dr. Macdonald’s extracurricular activities are running, cycling and hiking, and is also an avid dog lover.
