Regular checkups are vital to keep track of your child’s health and development. In addition to an illness or injury, your child should see the pediatrician for regular well-care visits beginning 3 to 5 days after birth.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends this schedule for routine well-care visits:

⦁ 2 months
⦁ 4 months
⦁ 6 months
⦁ 9 months
⦁ 12 months
⦁ 15 months
⦁ 18 months
⦁ 24 months

⦁ And once a year through age 21

However, if you are concerned your child may be sick please do not hesitate to call the office. Our office staff will take a message and one of our nurses will call you back to help decide if your child needs to be seen urgently or if an appointment can be made.
