Dr. Soe Naing, MD, MRCP (UK), FACE, ECNU, is board certified in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism. He graduated from the Institute of Medicine, Mandalay, Myanmar, and completed the specialist training in diabetes and endocrinology in Manchester, UK before he moved to the United States. In the U.S., he received residency training in internal medicine at the Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York, and fellowship training in Diabetes and Endocrinology at the University of Illinois, Chicago. While serving as a clinical professor at UCSF Fresno from 2008- 2022, he received numerous teaching awards, faculty of the year award, and faculty research award. His research works were published in multiple peer-reviewed journals.

He is now fully focusing on providing quality care to patients with diabetes and endocrine diseases in the Central Valley. Furthermore, he is dedicated to continuing medical education for the physicians in the Central Valley and has been the course director of the “Annual Diabetes and Endocrine Symposium for Primary Care Providers” since 2018. 

He has over 20 years of experience as a specialist and is certified by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists to perform and report office thyroid ultrasound and to perform office thyroid biopsy. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK), American Diabetes Association, Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and the Fresno Madera Medical Society. 

When not practicing medicine, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two daughters who are in college. Having spent several years in Manchester, UK, he is an avid fan of the Manchester United Soccer Club.
