Alan C. Lu, M.D., is an attending physician and medical geneticist at Community Genetic Specialists. Dr. Lu earned his M.D. from New York Medical College. After finishing residency in Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, he completed a fellowship in Medical Genetics and Genomics at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Lu is board certified in Pediatrics and Clinical Genetics and Genomics. He has particular interest in the genetics of autism spectrum disorder and developmental delay and intellectual disability, general clinical genetics and dysmorphology, and clinical genomics. He is also passionate about medical education, and clinical and translational research.
