Andria Criego-Maravilla, M.D., graduated from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and received her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She went on to complete her Family Medicine residency training with Valley Health Team in Fresno, California. Dr. Criego-Maravilla is board certified in Family Medicine and is currently completing an Addiction Medicine Fellowship through the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine.
Born and raised in Fresno, Dr. Criego-Maravilla is deeply committed to serving the community she calls home. Her passion for medicine stems from a desire to improve access to high-quality healthcare for individuals and families throughout the Central Valley, particularly underserved, rural, agricultural, and migrant communities. She believes in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care. As a family physician, she enjoys providing comprehensive, broad-spectrum care for patients across all stages of life and partnering with them to achieve their health goals.
When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Criego-Maravilla enjoys spending time with her husband, cats, and dog. She also enjoys exploring the natural beauty of California, including local hot springs, beaches, going rockhounding, and birdwatching.
