Chao Vang, RN, MSN, FNP, is one of the most experienced nurse practitioners specializing in urology. She is strongly committed to her patient’s treatment from new referrals, follow-ups, and patient education to prevent diseases. She works closely with the urologists to prepare patients for surgical interventions from pre-operative history and physical and post-operative visits and procedures.

Chao began her college education at California State University, Fresno where she earned her Bachelor of Science as a Registered Nurse. After completing her undergraduate degree, she started her nursing career in 1996 where she worked as a Registered Nurse at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno for eight years while simultaneously earning her Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) with an emphasis in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at California State University, Fresno.

She has been working as a nurse practitioner in urology since 2002. Chao is happily married with five children. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family and works on her gardens.
