Cynthia Curry, M.D., is a board-certified clinical geneticist with over 40 years of clinical experience, all in Fresno. She is a Professor of Pediatrics, Emerita at UCSF, and an Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at Stanford University. Dr. Curry received her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College and her MD from Yale University. She completed her pediatric training at the University of Washington and the University of Minnesota and pursued her fellowship in genetics at UCSF.

Dr. Curry is deeply committed to the evaluation and support of children and their families, as well as adults seeking a diagnosis. Her areas of particular interest include developmental disabilities, brain malformations, prenatal abnormalities, and issues in newborns. She has authored or co-authored over 160 papers and book chapters, including "Genetic Consultations in the Newborn," published by Oxford University Press in 2019.

Dr. Curry collaborates with her team of genetic counselors and pediatric, obstetric, and adult specialists to help families achieve a diagnosis. She is passionate about teaching and mentoring residents and students and recently received the Haile T. Debas UCSF Excellence in Teaching Award.

Outside of work, Dr. Curry enjoys traveling with her husband, growing vegetables and flowers, cooking and keeping up with her six growing grandchildren.
