Jaskiran Khosa, M.D., is a specialist in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine with advanced fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente’s Inland Empire program in San Bernardino County, followed by fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Loma Linda University. She then completed an additional fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology at the University of Minnesota, where she trained with exceptional mentors in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy. Her procedural expertise includes rigid and robotic bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, airway stenting, tumor debulking and ablative therapies, and advanced pleural procedures. During the latter years of her clinical training, she also earned an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business.

Dr. Khosa’s clinical interests include lung cancer diagnosis and staging, benign and malignant airway disease including tracheal stenosis, pleural disease, general pulmonary medicine, and critical care. Her philosophy in medicine is that patients, their loved ones, physicians, and clinical staff are all part of the same team. Serious illness can be an uncertain and difficult experience, and she believes her role is to help patients and families understand their options and choose the care that best serves them. As a proceduralist, this also means recognizing when not performing a procedure may be the best decision.

Medical education is central to Dr. Khosa’s practice at UCSF Fresno. She believes trainees learn best when given the opportunity to progressively develop autonomy and competency appropriate to their stage of training, with thoughtful supervision and patient safety as top priorities.

A native of the Los Angeles area, Dr. Khosa is excited to practice in California after completing her training in Minnesota. She is passionate about caring for the Central Valley’s diverse communities, including Punjabi and South Asian patients, and hopes to serve patients throughout her home state while continuing to grow as an academic physician, proceduralist, and educator.
