Jenna Weatherson, NP, graduated with a BS in Genetics from UC Davis. She then earned her Associates Degree in Nursing from Shoreline Community College. She worked for seven years as a RN at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA. She then moved to North Carolina where she earned her Masters of Nursing and Adult Nurse Practitioner at UNC Chapel Hill. Jenna is board certified as an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. For the majority of her 10+ NP career, she has cared for hematology and oncology patients. She enjoys the relationships she builds with patients as she walks alongside them while they traverse their conditions. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, whale watching and volunteering at an animal shelter.
