Mariam Buckowski, M.D., MPH is a board-certified family medicine physician with special interests in women’s health, chronic disease management, and office-based procedures.
Originally from Madera, CA, she grew up in Ventura County and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in linguistics and anthropology from UCLA, followed by a Master of Public Health from USC. She completed her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine and returned to the Central Valley for residency training at UCSF Fresno. After residency, Dr. Buckowski spent four years as core faculty at a family medicine residency program, where she trained medical students and residents in both inpatient and outpatient care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Buckowski loves exploring the outdoors through travel, backpacking, and hiking. At home, she enjoys experimenting with sourdough, tending to her garden (with mixed success), and caring for her backyard chickens.
