Satwant K. Sekhon, FNP-C, DNP, MSN earned both her Bachelor’s and Master of Science in Nursing from California State University, Fresno, and later completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at West Coast University. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She began her career as a registered nurse in orthopedic and telemetry units before advancing into her role as a nurse practitioner. With over a decade of clinical experience, she has worked across a broad range of specialties, including surgery and urology, providing her with a well-rounded, patient-centered approach to care.

Outside of her clinical role, she actively contributes to research and innovation as a member of the Fresno VA Research and Development Committee. She remains passionate about integrating evidence-based practice into patient care.

In her free time, she enjoys volunteering in the community, staying up to date with current medical literature, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
