Subhashini Ladella, M.D., FACOG, is a board certified Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist who brings a wealth of experience in the field of high-risk obstetrics to patients here in the Central Valley.

Dr. Ladella is the Medical Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine for Community Medical Centers and Voluntary Clinical Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology, UCSF Fresno. She completed residency training in Obstetrics/Gynecology at Providence Hospital, affiliated with Wayne State University, followed by Maternal-Fetal Medicine subspecialty fellowship training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

She has extensive experience in comprehensive outpatient and inpatient management of complicated pregnancies, including prenatal screening, prenatal diagnosis, targeted ultrasound examinations, fetal echocardiography, perinatal consultations, and diagnostic as well as therapeutic amniocentesis procedures.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Ladella has been actively involved in medical education and clinical research. Her research areas of interest include preterm labor, preeclampsia, and placenta accreta spectrum. In collaboration with March of Dimes, she developed the CA Preterm Birth Prevention Toolkit. She has many peer-reviewed scientific publications and has been invited to present her work at multiple national and international scientific meetings.

Dr. Ladella has a passion and desire to address the health disparities and health inequities of African-American pregnant women and actively participates in local community-based organizations and projects focused to improve Black Maternal and Child Health outcomes.

Dr. Ladella is a member of various professional organizations including the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine, International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, the World Association of Perinatal Medicine, the American Medical Association, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
