Wilbert Fortson, M.D., is board certified in maternal fetal medicine and obstetrics/gynecology. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the field of high-risk obstetrics to patients here in the Central Valley.

Dr. Fortson graduated from the University of Missouri before heading to St. Louis University School of Medicine, where he earned his medical doctorate. He soon made his way to California, where he received his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Harbor-UCLA Hospital. He completed is fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of California, Irvine.

He has experience managing complicated pregnancies, including prenatal screening, prenatal diagnosis, targeted ultrasound examinations, fetal echocardiography, treating preeclampsia, and type II diabetes in pregnancy. He aims to ensure that all his patients clearly understand their diagnosis, prognosis and management plan.

In his spare time, Dr. Fortson enjoys listening to music, fishing, and golfing.
