Kevin Orita, M.D., graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences and received their medical degree and graduated with high honors from St. George’s University – School of Medicine in Grenada. Dr. Orita went on to complete his internship and residency at St. Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, California where he consistently led his class in academic achievement. Dr. Orita is board certified in internal medicine.
Prior to joining Community Health Partners, Dr. Orita has served as a primary care physician for the past several years in Fresno and received recognition for outstanding performance in the Medicare STARS quality of care program in 2023.
He is a well-rounded internist but has particular interest in primary preventive care and the treatment of obesity, hypertension, type 2 diabetes mellitus, chronic heart disease and chronic kidney disease. His approach to patient care emphasizes helping his patients understand their condition so that they can make the most informed decision possible when it comes to deciding on a treatment plan.
When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Orita enjoys spending time with his wife Nancy and his daughter. Some of his hobbies include cooking, aquascaping, and playing badminton. He previously trained alongside current and former Olympians and competed at the national level in badminton.
